Sorkie is a subsidiary of Corkro Co, Ltd in South Korea, responsible for marketing operations in the United States. Jacob So, the owner of Corkro, has been dedicated to the research and development of construction and various flooring materials for nearly 40 years.

Through this relentless effort, we succeeded in commercializing processed cork named PG-CORK, which is produced using patented technology that allows natural cork to be used as a general indoor and outdoor building material for the first time in the world.

 

We have extensive experience and know-how accumulated over many years in the installation of PIP PG-CORK flooring both indoor and outdoor. We completed over 200 PIP cork flooring projects and installed more than 2 million square feet as of 2023.

 

Over 98% of the projects were commissioned by the South Korean government.

The global cork company, Amorim, could not have imagined that cork could be laid on roads; however, they recognized our unique processing technology and products and invited us to Portugal to learn more. They also imported our processed cork (PG-CORK) with the intent of using it for business.
